My style icon

I really love Miley Cyrus' laid back style, she pieces simple items together but still manages to look great! If only I had a figure like hers to be able to pull them off though!

Starry eyed

Jumper + Necklace: Topshop / Shorts: New Look

Avon nailwear pro in twilight blue / Avon colortrend nail topcoat in gold flecked

I've been so busy these past few days, it's difficult to find time to fit everything in! But when I had a spare minute one night I decided to do my nails and this is what happened; I used a dark blue then gold sparkle on top to create a night sky effect, I love it!

Pressed powder: Collection 2000 / Eyebrows: Gallery Cosmetics / Eyeliner: All about face (Tesco) / Mascara: Avon supershock

I went to pizza hut with some friends tonight, was nice to catch up seen as we don't seem to get to spend as much time together anymore because of college. I definitely ate too much though but it was worth it!

These will be the best memories

Pressed powder: Collection 2000 / Eyeliner + Eyebrows: All about face (Tesco) / Mascara: Avon supershock

Leather Jacket: Dorothy Perkins / Dress: shelikes / Skirt: Asos / Heels: Impressions

Tonight I had to go to my secondary school's awards evening to get my certificates for my gcse's, it wasn't the most interesting of nights but at least everyone got to dress up!

I bought this black and white skulls dress for a tenner, bargain! And paired it with this lovely black skirt from asos that I got for £7 in the sale, another bargain! These are my favourite heels and I wore a matching leather jacket to complete my outfit. I was a little worried my heels and skirt would cause me a bit of trouble walking across the stage but luckily it was fine!

The beginning

I've been meaning to start a blog for a while now, but considering I've not long started college and have lots of work to do I'm not sure now is the best time but I definitely want to give it a go! I'm looking forward to the opportunity to express myself and my style; I don't really know where to begin but I suppose I should give you a little intro;

I'm 16 and living in Essex (it's not all orange and ott just to clarify) in England, I'm doing my A levels at my local sixth form college in geography, sociology, religious studies, and communication and culture. Okay that doesn't really scream 'fashion' but I've never been clear on what I want to do when I'm older so I'm keeping my options open and enjoying what I do. I really hope you enjoy reading my blog..
